Moo-Moo!!

It's official folks - we are off of formula and on to cow's milk for Cristian! He is a few short weeks shy of his 1st b.day so we decided as soon as our last can of formula was used up we'd transition to whole milk. And let's just say our little man didn't skip a beat. He drank his bedtime bottle all up and slept all thru the night as usual. Good times!!!! We are stoked to be off of formula...no more mixing...just pouring straight from the jug! :)

I'm still trying to get a grip on the fact that we've made it thru the 1st year...looking back I can say it was a piece of cake...lol, but then I remember all those sleepless nights...and I'm so proud at what all we've accomplished together...as a family...Jose, Cristian and me! :) We are truly blessed...beyond measure. I'm so very thankful for it all!

I thought now that we're approaching Cristian's 1st b.day I better get on the ball...so I can have a collage of sorts of how he's grown and changed over the last year by the time his b.day rolls around. 11 wonderful months...

Our little cutie...check out those curls! For some reason the left side was a ball of curls and the right side was all slicked back...lol - the curls have a mind of their own as you can see!



Sometimes the curls are unruly...too cute! Jose and I refer to it lovingly as "crazy hair" :)

How can this be? My little boy is less than a month away from his 1 year old birthday!? WOW - I cannot phathom that my little bundle of joy is soon entering the toddler world. This year has zipped by. Jose and I have learned a lot over these past 11 months...Cristian is the light of our lives...and has really transformed us in wonderful ways...he's a miracle and soon we'll be celebrating his 1st year with family and friends...and we can't wait!

Blogging is one of my favorite ways to express myself...I am so glad I started this blog! :)

One of the first blogs I ever really visited was Bring the Rain http://audreycaroline.blogspot.com Angie Smith is such a strong and faithful woman and her blog has inspired me so much!! Her husband, Todd Smith, is one of the singers in the Christian group Selah. If you have time to check out Angie's blog you should b/c it's so uplifting. From Angie's blog I branched out and learned of other blogs that spoke to me...one of which was Jennifer's blog (Stellan's Mom) called My Charming Kids http://www.mycharmingkids.net Stellan is some little miracle...and those close to me know Stellan's story. Angie and Jennifer's blogs are two that I frequent daily.

Blogging is one of my sources of encouragment. When reading people's blogs you get a glimpse into their world...you would be surprised how much good you can walk away with just from reading one person's blog. I speak for myself...and know this to be true!! There are so many wonderful people out in the world...thru blogging people who would have never met otherwise are able to form friendships and bonds without ever meeting in real life.

Just by reading Angie and Jennifer's blog my faith is renewed...it's so refreshing and I get so much out of just reading their words. It's really powerful this blogging phenomenom~!!
