Wild Olive

I recently came across a great website that sells cute, hip shirts for women and best of all they help spread the word of the Lord!!!!!!

I love them and have already ordered one for myself. It's the shirt called "Unfolding" and some of the profits from the sale of this particular shirt benefit a great charity called "Until Journey's End".

I learned of that charity from MckMama's blog www.mycharmingkids.net. I have talked to some of you about her blog and her youngest son, Stellan. :)

The contest ended yesterday, May 13, at 5 p.m. and unfortunately we lost by 1%! :( Thank you ALL for helping me almost win by voting like mad men yesterday! We were ahead by 2% and for whatever reason around 4:10 p.m. many of us, including me, got locked out of the voting system and could no longer vote. My competition caught up and was able to win.

I was so bummed about this last night...but hey, it happens!

Thanks for all your support - we can't say we lost for lack of effort!! You guys ROCK! :)

I had maternity pics done in July 2008 by Lori Gordon owner of Shooting Star Photography http://www.shootstarphoto.com/ and the pics were awesome! When Cristian was born we were lucky enough to have her do his newborn pictures in September 2008 when he was just 10 days old!!

Lori's photography bizz is celebrating it's 1 year anniversary and she is having a contest for former clients and the picture we submitted of Cristian is one of the finalists. All of the pics are GREAT but I am Cristian's Mother and I am biased!
